Has, among other things, been the managing director of Norsk Profilforming AS (Europrofil Norge AS) and independent business consultant. Became deputy CEO of Ekornes ASA in 1991 and was CEO from 1996 - 2009.

Robert Svendsen

CFO

Experience:
Started working for Ekornes in 1986 as Controller and became CFO in 1990. Previous to this he had seven years experience from research, reporting, consultancy work and teaching.

Education:
Masters in BA and Economics from NHH, Bergen.

Runar Haugen

Group Marketing Director

Experience:
Hired as an export consultant by Ekornes ASA in 1991, marketing manager and member of the corporate management team since 1992, Group Marketing Director since 1998. Previous experience from export, sales and consultancy work.

Education:
Master of business administration.

Svein Lunde

International Marketing Director

Experience:
Started working for Ekornes in 1994 as the managing director of Ekornes Ltd with responsibility for the UK/Ireland. Took on his present post in January 2003. Previous experience from banking and the travel industry.

Education:
Diploma, Management Studies.

Ola Arne Ramstad

Director Stressless Division

Experience:
Started in production at Ekornes in 1984. Various posts within factory production management. Member of the corporate management team since 2002.

Education:
Business administration.

Arve Ekornes

Director Product Development

Experience:
Hired by Ekornes as an apprentice in 1983. Worked on the development of production equipment and the product development of steel components until 1992. Product development manager from 1992-2002. Joined the corporate management team in 2002.

Education:
Certified industrial mechanic.

Geir Balsnes

ICT Director

Experience:
Employed as IT Director and member of the executive management of Ekornes ASA in March 2012. Coming from the position of Vice President and Executive Partner at Gartner Group. Has previously been IT Director at British Telecom, Rolls Royce Marine and Ulstein Group.

Jon-Erlend Alstad

CEO, Ekornes Fetsund AS (Svane)

Experience:
Joined Ekornes in april 2012. Between 1998 and 2007 respectively, marketing manager and sales director of Stokke AS. From 2007 to 2012 Senior Vice President Commercial Operations in Scandinavian Business Seating as (Hague). Previous experience in the tourism industry.
